Covid-19 Mass Vaccination Clinic for patients aged 70 - 74 on Orkney Mainland

The following categories are now being invited to receive the COVID-19 vaccine:

  • Patients aged 70 - 74 who live and are registered with a GP Practice on the Orkney Mainland
  • If you have any queries, are unable to attend or are temporarily staying in Orkney please phone 0755 200 2516 FROM Wednesday 3 February.

We are holding Mass Vaccination clinics for THIS CATEGORY on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th February 2021 at the Outpatients Department in The Balfour, Foreland Road.

Please attend for your appointment at the relevant time shown below:

SATURDAY 6th February 2021:

SUNDAY 7th February 2021:

Can we please ask that you make sure you ONLY come at the allocated time slot relevant to your surname, as we must ensure social distancing.

There will be Marshalls on site to assist with the flow of patients arriving, we also have wheelchairs available for those who need.

We expect that people attending will be able to make their own way to the vaccination venue.  If you find that you have no way of getting to the venue then it may be possible to provide transport, but this is subject to availability and enquiries must be made in advance to rosalind.aitken@vaorkney.org.uk or 01856 872897. No bookings can be taken at the weekend. 

Please do not attend the clinic for your appointment if you’re feeling unwell or are showing signs of COVID-19. You should phone to rearrange your appointment if you are feeling unwell, showing symptoms of COVID-19, have recently tested positive or been told to self-isolate.

On the day of your appointment:

• Please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible do not come early.

• Please wear a face covering and sanitise your hands before attending
