Remuneration Committee

NHS Orkney is required to have a Remuneration Committee whose main function is to review the objectives and performance of executives and senior managers, ensuring the application and implementation of fair and equitable pay systems on behalf of the Board as determined by Ministers and the Scottish Government.

The Committee is a standing committee of the Board and will act with full authority in relation to the matters set out in its Role and Remit.  It will be required to provide assurance to the Board and Staff Governance Committee that systems and procedures are in place to do so, enabling the overarching staff governance responsibilities to be effectively discharged.
