Message for All NHSO Staff

Hi All

I hope you are all enjoying this continued beautiful weather and taking the opportunity to be outdoors more and enjoying these sunny, longer evenings and weekends. It makes such a difference to how we’re feeling and with this brings more happiness and optimism in my view. Long may it continue!

I’m delighted that after extensive engagement we have launched our new Staff Experience Programme – called Your Employee Journey – setting out how in response to your feedback we are focusing on priority areas to ensure we further improve your experience of working here, based on what matters most to you. This includes improving areas such as: recruitment, induction, how we invest in you and wellbeing and recognition – we know there is more we can and must do in each of these spaces so that your experience is a better one.

iMatter 2025 is now open – this is one of the ways in which you can have your say to let us know what it’s like to work here – to help us to constantly stay close to what matters. Please take time to have your say. The survey takes around 5 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous. If you need any help or support, please reach out to our People and Culture Team and they will be pleased to help. It’s really important we hear your voice because if we don’t know about something, we can’t change anything.

We are exploring ways throughout the year to capture your feedback, building on what we already do, so we can ensure there are regular and recognised mechanisms for receiving and acting on your feedback.

Looking to this week – we have our latest all staff briefing on Wednesday for 30 minutes on Teams from 12.15pm.

The areas we’ll cover (building on the updates above) are as follows:

  1. Key national updates
  2. A warm welcome to Tammy Sharp – our new Director of Performance and Transformation (& Deputy CEO)
  3. Thanks to Jay (Our Director of People and Culture)
  4. iMatter 2025
  5. New Staff Experience Programme – Your Employee Journey
  6. Transitional funding update and next steps
  7. Island Games preparedness
  8. Shout outs and celebrating our successes
  9. Your questions and answers

Have a great week everyone and see you soon.

Best wishes.
