Our NHS Orkney Annual Review will take place on Tuesday 3 December from 12pm – 2pm both in-person at The Balfour and virtually via MS Teams.

We are pleased to share the agenda for the session, which has a clear theme and focus: ‘reconnecting with you, our, community.’

We will hear from our Board Chair, Chief Executive, Executive Directors and wider Board members who are responsible for the care and services you receive. We will share an update on our progress and achievements over the last year and our plans and priorities for the year ahead, based on what matters to you.

If you’d like to join, please come along to The Balfour on Tuesday 3 December or, join via MS Teams on the link here, NHS Orkney Annual Review Meeting Link  at 12pm. Alternatively, you can watch the session at a time that suits yourself as it will be recorded and shared after the event on our website.

We continue to encourage everyone to keep submitting questions which will be answered in our dedicated “question and answer” space as noted on the agenda (below). You can submit questions by emailing ork.engagement@nhs.scot or by calling 01856 888197.

Meghan McEwen, Board Chair at NHS Orkney said “I am really excited to chair this year’s Annual Review which will be attended by Laura and wider Board members. This is your chance, as our community, to ask us your burning questions and to hear the answers from us directly based on what matters most to you. It’s also an opportunity to hear what we have planned for the months and year ahead.”

Laura Skaife-Knight, Chief Executive at NHS Orkney said: “We look forward to our Annual Review, which is a further opportunity to reconnect with our community, share our progress from the last 12-months and celebrate our successes, and be open and honest about our challenges and how we are responding to these. We welcome your questions and look forward to the conversations we will have with our community at December’s public meeting.”
