Looking after our community and providing excellent care

Volunteering with NHS Orkney

With busy lives, it can be hard to find time to volunteer. However, the benefits of volunteering are enormous to you, your family, and your community. The right match can help you find friends, reach out to the community, learn new skills, and even help your career. Volunteering can also help protect your mental and physical health and wellbeing.

If you let us know the type of volunteering role you are looking for by completing our volunteering form below, we’ll do our best to find an appropriate volunteering opportunity for you within NHS Orkney.

If you require further information then please submit the form below or contact the Student & Workplacement Co-ordinator on 01856 888956.
