Davie brings strong practical experience across business, accounting, governance, audit, risk and accountability, with a particular focus on effective stewardship, transparent decision-making and sound public-sector assurance.
Davie has extensive private sector experience and has contributed to a range of third sector and not-for-profit boards as a business, funding and project adviser. This breadth of experience supports his leadership of the Board, bringing a balanced understanding of governance, partnership working, financial responsibility and the importance of keeping community benefit at the centre of decision-making.
Davie is the Board Chair and Chair of the Endowments Fund within the board. He is also a current board member of the Integration Joint Board for Orkney and is the Chair of Orkney NHS Board.
