COVID-19: Changes to Optical Services - 23 March 2020

Changes to routine eye examinations

In order to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19, all Optical practices in Scotland have been instructed to suspend routine eye examinations.

Following guidance issued by Scottish Government, from Monday 23rd March 2020, Clark Optometrists in line with this instruction are suspending appointments and are unable to make any appointments until further notice.

If you require emergency eye care, call Clark Optometrists on 01856 872 857 to discuss your concerns and they will arrange for an emergency appointment to be made should this be necessary.

We appreciate these measures may cause some anxiety and inconvenience, but this is a highly unusual situation. As the situation evolves, we will be posting regular updates via social media (Facebook and Twitter) and on NHS Orkney’s website. We would encourage you to check those sources for the latest information.
