Looking after our community and providing excellent care

Flu and Covid Vaccination Programme – Autumn/Winter – Update December 2023

We are continuing to vaccinate against both Flu and Covid, recognising both can be serious, even for healthy people. If you are eligible for vaccination and have missed your appointment, or you are a household contact or carer and haven’t yet had your vaccine, please come along to one of the drop-in clinics below:

  • Tuesday 12 December: 2pm - 4.30pm at The Balfour
  • Tuesday19 December: 2pm - 4.30pm *new date added* at The Balfour

Please just pop along, check in at the reception desk and they will direct you to the vaccination team.

These viruses can spread more quickly in winter so getting vaccinated now is the most effective way to protect yourself against serious illness. Orkney is once again leading the way, at the moment, with the highest uptake in Adult Flu and Covid booster vaccinations which is a great testament to yourselves in the community and the fantastic work done by our vaccination team.
