Graduation Success for NHS Orkney Staff

Eleven NHS Orkney staff members graduated from Orkney College last week (Friday 29 September); seven of them with SVQ’s and five with MA’s.

Harmony Bourn – who works in the Medical Secretary team – also collected the NHS Modern Apprenticeship of the Year Award. Gina Manson – part of the Primary Care team – has been named Business Studies Part-time student of the Year.

NHS Orkney Chairman Ian Kinniburgh said: “It is fantastic to see so many of the team pick up academic awards. It’s a testament to their hard work and dedication that they combine their studies with working for NHS Orkney. The whole board is extremely supportive of staff development and I offer my congratulations to all the graduates.”

The graduation ceremony took place at St Magnus Cathedral; the complete list of graduates is as follows:
